ABOUT THE HOST

Fraport TAV Antalya Airport serves as the gateway to Antalya, Türkiye’s leading tourism destination and one of the most visited leisure destinations in the Mediterranean. Strategically positioned on the Turkish Riviera, Antalya Airport plays a vital role in connecting millions of international travellers with the region each year. The airport is ranked as Türkiye’s second-busiest airport in terms of international passenger traffic.

The airport is operated by Fraport TAV Antalya Airport, a joint venture between Fraport AG and TAV Airports Holding, two of the aviation industry’s leading airport operators. The partnership has managed Antalya Airport since 2018 and, following an international tender process, secured the concession rights to operate and develop the airport until the end of 2051.

In 2025, Antalya Airport successfully completed a landmark expansion project that significantly strengthened its infrastructure and operational capabilities. The investment increased the airport’s annual passenger capacity from 40 million to 65 million passengers in its first phase, with a long-term target of exceeding 80 million passengers during the concession period. The project also expanded terminal facilities, apron capacity, commercial areas and passenger services, positioning the airport to meet the region’s rapidly growing tourism demand.

Antalya Airport handled a record 39.2 million passengers in 2025, underlining its central role in supporting tourism growth across the destination. The airport serves more than 220 destinations across more than 50 countries through a network of more than 100 airlines, reinforcing its position as one of the Mediterranean’s most important international aviation hubs.

Today, Antalya Airport continues to distinguish itself through its modern infrastructure, sustainability-driven approach, premium passenger experience offerings and commitment to operational excellence. As a key contributor to the regional economy and Türkiye’s tourism industry, the airport plays a central role in supporting the long-term growth and global connectivity of Antalya and the wider Mediterranean region.
